Christmas 2010!

This year I really wanted it to feel like Christmas. Last year we had a few lights and garland hanging, but that was it, we didn't even have a tree. So this time I went all out. I figured it's ok to get a whole bunch of Christmas decorations, because I'll just be able to reuse them for the following Christmas's. It's an investment.

Fake snow on the bookshelf. Closet I'm gonna get to snow in LA.

Cutest nutcrackers ever, from Joann's.

I got a pretty red Christmas table cloth and matching napkins in green.

Stockings. We don't have a fireplace mantel to hang them on, but we found this solid bar on our door that would do just the trick.

My awesome giant nutcracker. I really wanted one of those 6 feet ones, but I couldn't find any. Or any that were in price range. This cute guy is 3 feet and I put him on a stand to make him taller. The stand may or may not be one of those giant boxes of popcorn from Costco that we went through.

My snowman pillow.

Table decorations.

Dave opening a present from his parents that they sent us. We opened it on Christmas morning because we had an inkling of what would be inside.

Oh yeah!!! A wide variety of Mary's amazing homemade treats! We munched on a few of those goodies until dinner.

A cool apron I got from the Kraayenbrinks. I think Mary made it for me. Now I can wear it when I sometimes cook. :)

Our beautiful Christmas tree....and Dave.

A fun game called Carcassone. One of our friends have it and got us hooked on it.

A new hat from my hubby!

Dave hanging up his new shower clock/radio.

Our amazing dinner. We had these cute little Cornish Hens, stuffing, broccoli, leeks, and mashed potatoes and gravy.

I got Dave some new softball kleets.

A new scarf.

Settlers of Catan: Seafarers expansion! Now we just have to read the instructions, which will take a good hour to read.

Hiding the best present of all, his new watch. I forgot to take a picture of it. Oops.

Christmas wore out Dave.

And Christmas tried to get me.

But we both survived and tomorrow, we're off to Tennessee to see all the Warolin's.
